Subject: Down to earth in Santa Fe
New to this site, I thought I would start out with one of my classic shows.
This was the first of two; both afternoon concerts.
This followed three nights at Red Rocks.
I began this tour in Park West, Utah, and finished it up at Manor Downs which followed the Santa Fe shows.
So here I am, 19 years old; already two weeks on the road...driving from Massachusetts with my buddy; 1968 Firebird.....heaven.
During Cold rain; Phil approaches the mic at the end, and everyone goes crazy. Back in those days Phil never sand...prompting Let Phil Sing stickers.
The party following the show was a hoot. The venue supplied us with a huge fire pit and partied into the late hours....just to start it all over agin the following afternoon; Micky's birthday, with roses intertwined into the staging.
34 years ago.....seems like yesterday.
